HAZE LANDS DIORAMA
Taiwan's subtropical broadleaf forest ecosystem is a vital component of the island's natural beauty and ecological diversity. The lush greenery, diverse flora and fauna, and unique climate make this forest an essential habitat for countless plant and animal species. These ecosystems play a crucial role in maintaining environmental balance by providing oxygen, regulating the climate, and preserving biodiversity. Protecting and preserving Taiwan's subtropical broadleaf forests is important not only for the island's natural heritage but also for the well-being of the planet as a whole. I am creating a large representation of some of my favorite discoveries to showcase this remarkable natural phenomenon, not only important for the island's natural heritage but also for the well-being of the planet as a whole.
The installation is made with recycled metal, recycled rope, and recycled textiles.
All the fabric is repurposed material donated by Yee Chain International Co.
