FLUX
Inspired by the Rainbow Serpent of Aboriginal Australian cosmology—a creator being associated with water, fertility, and the flow of life—Flux transforms these mythic ideas into a large-scale, sky-floating installation. Just as the Rainbow Serpent moves through the land and shapes rivers, valleys, and the energy of the environment, Flux undulates above the landscape, following the currents of air and light.

Drawing inspiration from the colors and banding of rainbow agate, as well as the fluctuations of energy itself, the work resembles a colorful river suspended in space. Strips of fabric combine translucency and vibrant hues, merging and separating in a loose arrangement that extends throughout the piece. As it floats and shifts, Flux creates undulating volumes that interact dynamically with the surrounding environment, reminding viewers that energy is the only constant—ever-changing, flowing, and responsive to its surroundings.

Through its scale, movement, and color, the installation evokes both the mythic presence of the Rainbow Serpent and the tangible, perceptible forces of the natural world, inviting reflection on transformation, continuity, and the unseen currents that shape life.
