HAZE LANDS DIORAMA
Taiwan's subtropical broadleaf forests are vital to the island’s ecological diversity, supporting lush greenery, rich flora and fauna, and unique climatic conditions. These ecosystems regulate climate, provide oxygen, and preserve biodiversity, making their protection essential for both local and global well-being.
This installation is a condensed representation of some of my favorite discoveries within these forests. Made from recycled metal, rope, and textiles, it celebrates the beauty and complexity of these habitats while highlighting sustainable material use and creative engagement with nature.
All the fabric is repurposed material donated by Yee Chain International Co.
This installation and its construction methods are original artistic expressions developed by Lua Rivera as part of the Rivera Rhizomatic Construction Method.
