MOTHS
Like a moth to a flame, many insects are attracted to artificial light. The temporary light confuses their navigation systems, taking them to unexpected places. This work is a metaphor for biodiversity and cultural diversity. in this work, I compare moths flying to the light with humans who come to Iceland from all corners of the planet in search of the aurora borealis. These human migrations cause an exchange of visions, traditions, religions, and dreams. The international flow transforms the landscape and the social dynamics of this volcanic country.
