This work is inspired by the properties of the crystals. Crystals are quite intriguing to me because, besides their healing and spiritual connotations, their physical properties are very different from other materials and elements on the planet. Crystals can produce negative ions under certain conditions such as when heated or put under pressure, this phenomenon is known as Piezoelectricity. Crystals like quartz can amplify and transduce electric energy. Some crystals can also generate light when applied pressure or when exposed to a sudden change in temperature.
As a result of these properties, they are applied in different wireless technologies and everyday devices modifying the energies that surround us. What might look empty to the naked eye is full of moving energy and oscillating patterns.
Crystals do not belong to any animal kingdom, and yet they share some of their properties.

“In a crystal, we have clear evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nonetheless a living being.”
